About Us
In 1979, my mom, dad, and I were searching for a great place to build a weekend getaway. We found this in the North Georgia mountains. We built the perfect weekend cabin in 1980 which both family and friends enjoyed for many years. My dad retired from his business in Atlanta in 1994, and he built his retirement home here. There was no question of where he was going to retire as we had spent a great deal of time in this area and knew the great opportunities this part of Georgia has to offer, as well as the good people who live in the area. As he was not the type to just sit and enjoy the beautiful long range mountain views, trout streams and the abundant wildlife in the area, he started his 4th career path in real estate. This was in the early '90s. He has recently retired and turned the business over to me. He achieved sales in the multimillion dollar range and is a life member in this club.
I, after leaving the Coast Guard, joined Home Depot, and had a great career in middle management. I retired in 2006 and, having many memories of great times in the mountains, decided to move here. This decision was great, as not only did I have family here, I also joined the real estate business.
I brought not only an inexhaustible amount of energy, but the ability to give new insight into the real estate business. My ability to work with people and listen to their wants is refreshing in this business of selling. My ability, coupled with my years of in-depth knowledge of the Ellijay/Blue Ridge areas, has allowed me to offer a tremendous ability to help folks like you find the property of your dreams.
